* About Matsushita group:

Simple physical processes, such as aggregation, evaporation, and multiplication, often generate various and interesting patterns found in nature.

Our research group is concerned with fundamental studies of pattern formations in physical, chemical, and biological systems.

In this context we perform experiments and computer simulations to understand the physical process of various pattern formations on the basis of statistical physics.

Research area: Statistical physics, Fractal science, Pattern formation in chemical and biological systems

* Biography of Prof. Matsushita:

Professor Matsushita conducted his graduate research at University of Tokyo, and got a Ph.D.
